The Masters

What a week that was. I'm sure all of you watch the golf over the weekend and witnessed a win for Danny Willett, the first Englishman to win the green jacket for 20 years. 

It was amazing to watch it all unfold and it just shows you that even the best players in the world can buckle under the pressure. 

I really hope that an English win can boost golf and get more people playing this great game.

On fire!!!! 

Last Saturday morning I arrived to work at 6.45 to see the trees at the back of the first on fire. 

The fire brigade were there and managed to put the fire out, the result is the trees have had to be taken down which will now leave the green slightly more exposed but this will have no effects on how the hole plays. 

   

A very good sign

Looking on social media the other day I came across a sign that I thought was excellent and is very true. See what you think.

 

A full field for this Saturday

This Saturday is the start of our opens for 2016. This weekend is the men's pairs open and it's now fully booked which is great.

What's the pro shop staff up to this week? 

This week has been crazy with the sun shinning and the masters inspiring people to play. 

I've been busy teaching and this Saturday I'm putting Macey through more pain by taking her back up the albion. Noel has been away at Woodhall Spa for a few days on a course and return Friday, James has been excellent and is learning the ropes very well, Ethan is working hard at weekend and my Dad has been busy with the trolleys and goes away to Bude for a few days on Saturday.
