A great day out

On Tuesday I took a trip to the Captain's day out golf course, Bloxwich. The course was excellent. I was very impressed with the condition of the course and with the superb variety of holes. 

Long par 4s to reachable par 5s and various lengths on the par 3s. I would strongly recommend if you haven't already, to put your name down for Friday, 5 August and enjoy our Captains away day and enjoy a really nice golf course. 

We had a nice 4 ball. 

Kevin O'Conner and myself took on John and Jim Parsons. 

We had a great game but couldn't quite match the Parsons and finished up losing 2&1. I played nicely shooting level par with 3 birdies and 3 bogeys and 12 pars. 

Kevin started extremely well and had a blip in the middle but came back strong on the back 9. John and Jim played really well and with their shots they used them well. 

Every hole apart from the first was won with birdies so that's always the sign of a good game.

   

Getting the team together

On Monday night I took all the staff out for a get together and it's always a good time to run through any issues that we have and how we can move the business forward. 

All staff input is vital to me and we work extremely hard as a team and we try extremely hard to make sure the members and customers of Kidderminster golf clubs get the service they deserve.

What's the staff up to? 

This week I have played Tuesday, I'm also gracing the fairways Thursday at Kidderminster and I'm playing Burnham and Berrow Tuesday. The studio is still be extremely busy as well as the practice ground and it's been a crazy week. 

Noel played Sunday at Sapey with Phil Brookes, Mark Baker and Dave Colwell. Noel started poorly but played better back 9, the team had a great day. James continues to work hard and is now in control of our database loading and also the shop signage so what this space for new signs soon. 

Ethan is busy studying and had been excellent at weekends. My dad is been busy with the trolley repairs but has now got on top of them now.
