A team win the league
A message from A team captain Dave Meekison.
We have become champions with a game to spare, having a record number of points as when we have won our matches we have won big.
Our home form has been unbelievable, of our five home game we have won three 5-1, one 5 1/2 - 1/2, and one 6-0.
This means we dropped only 3 1/2 points from a possible 30 at home.
Add to that two away victories at Evesham and Sapey 5-1 we amassed an unassailable points tally. Our success this year has been based around having a strong core of players who have been a regular fixture in the matches enabling us to field a fairly consistent side.
That has allowed us to build a real team spirit, with a winning mentality. The main reason for our victory however has been top golfers playing great golf.
Craig Wood and Robbie Moore (pictured) jetted off to Spain to celebrate the win.
Seniors finish their year with a presentation
The senior played their final competition last week and afterwards had a meal and presented the winners of the season competitions with their trophies.
Congratulations the seniors captain, Frank, the seniors secretary Nigel and everyone else involved with organising and working hard to making sure the seniors section continues to run smoothly.
Sunday school a success
A splendid day yet again at Kidderminster Golf Club. The Sunday School competition was a great success. Second place team on Sam Inett, Brian Longmore and Les Cook.
The winning team (with the John Whitehouse Memorial Trophy) is Stuart Fellows, Paul Burkes and Dave Laidler.
The only reason Dave Loboda is in the pictures is that he was presenting the prizes!!! Thanks to all who took part for a great event.

Ladies coaching day
Last Thursday I ran a all day ladies coaching class.
The day consisted off a morning down on the practice area working on short game, target practice and accuracy and then after lunch we worked on course management over 6 holes.
We had a great day and the ladies who attended said they had a great day and learnt many things which they will try and adapted into their games.
Staff training
Last week we had the start of a monthly staff training programme.
Last week we talked about custom fitting in the studio and I showed the lads the different spins and how to read the figures and how to adjust clubs and shafts to help create better figures which in turn will create better shots.
After the training we had a shoot off using the new software in the studio which sets different shots and scores you points if you hit the green.
Noel had 12 points, I had 16 points but James came out on top with 17 points.
I'll get him next time.
