What a fantastic few days
Over the past 2 days both myself and Noel have been down in Milton Keynes at the MK Dons ground for the first every foremost conference. It was an incredible 2 days which we learnt many new things and have now started planning for 2017 already.
Day 1
On the Monday we were greeted by Paul Hedges, the CEO of foremost and Paul spoke about the company's vision and how he sees things moving forward. He also spoke about when foremost first started and how it all came about which was very interesting.
We then spilt into small groups and went in to different rooms where golfing manufacturers would run through their custom fit process and what they had new coming for 2017. In day 1 we had demonstrations from Cleveland and Srixon, Motocaddy, Foresight and Foremost Retail.
Day 2
On Tuesday we started with Jamie Edwards train brain. Jamie was exceptional and he spoke about how you see yourself and how to make yourself better and move up a level. How to stay consistent in your service and don't be scared to make change. I really did learn a lot from Jamie and will defiantly use some of his advice in the future.
We then spilt back into small groups and we visited Callaway, PING, TaylorMade, Titleist/FootJoy and Foremost EMP (elite marketing programme).
Again we took many ideas away from these sessions and you will see changes in the shop and the way we market our business very soon.
Orla is on the move
It only seems like yesterday when Orla was born but it's been just over 10 months and now she's crawling and standing up.
She can crawl from 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds, well that's what it feels like.
Don't forget our personalised presents for Christmas
Are you looking for something different for your loved one this Christmas.
What better way than a dozen golf balls with a personalised message. Choose the ball, design the message and then collect in the pro shop, it's that easy.
Thanks for the survey
Many thanks for everyone who filled my on line survey in. We had 30% more than the average club for filling in the survey.
This survey goes out every 2 years and it's absolutely critical to my business. In order to make my business succeed and be the best it can I need the following:
What you use currently in all golfing aspects
What you would like to use in the future
Good experiences of the shop
Bad experiences of the shop
Lesson booking
How we can improve.
Don't ask a question if you don't want a answer!!
I feel I offer a very good service and would like to think I cater for all members, however, I don't want to presume this and your feedback is so crucial to my business, I'm never scared of the truth if it means we can move forward and improve.
All feedback will now be acted upon in the next couple of months and I'm sure you will see a difference. If anyone who filled the survey in didn't get their £20 voucher please let me know.
Another great Mizuno fitting day
On Wednesday we ran our second Mizuno fitting day this year.
Members and non members were treated to a great fitting session and also got a glimpse of the new JPX wood collection that launches next February.
The JPX 900 range was what ever one wanted and the results were brilliant.
Members gained yards as well as accuracy and feel so a win win all round.
If you want to have a Mizuno fitting we have the full DNA fitting centre at Kidderminster so click here to book your session.
