If it's good enough for Tiger, it's good enough for you.
Tiger woods has now signed to play TaylorMade for the upcoming season. A great signing for TaylorMade and it will be really interesting to see how he performs with the new clubs this season. On Wednesday we ran a product knowledge day as well as a fitting and demo day with TaylorMade and we had a great day with a fully booked sheet.
Members and guests took advantage of a free one hour session which included 6 free balls with ever session. We saw some massive improvements with the new TaylorMade range. Please see below some of our gains as well as a tighter shot dispersion. As can be seen below by launching the ball higher and reducing backspin this helps create more distance. Ever wonder why people hit their three woods further than their drivers? All to do with launch and spin. A nice 13 yard gain in this session.
As can be seen below again a gain of 20 yards with only 2mph more ball speed. Down to launch and spin.
18 yard gain and a better flight and launch which will help the ball stop on the green because the descent angle is higher.
A great day with many members learning what the spins and launches of a ball do to create distance and accuracy. We will be doing lots more of these days so keep reading the newsletter so you don't miss out.
The studio is now fully to the brim with custom fitting clubs
No one can say at Kidderminster that we don't have enough club options to look at. We have nearly all major manufacturers in the studio now and all being well in the next 2 weeks the studio will get the make over it needs. Please see below the clubs that are available for fitting.
New to the studio from PING

Parking tickets now being issued on the course
As you can see one of our members left his trolley on double yellow line whilst the path is being relaid. He has been reprimanded and his fine was a round of drink for the green staff. Seems a fair fine to me.
The shop is looking a little different
We have now started work on the shop changes.
When I say we I mean my dad. He has made the counter smaller to allow for the new fridge and the chocolate stands. The fridge should be here with in the next 2 weeks.
Making the counter smaller has made a massive difference to the shop space and floor space.
Pop in and see what you think.
James is swinging nicely and ready for the season
With the season soon upon us James has started practicing hard to get his game in shape. He swings the club very well and creates amazing speeds, more consistency and better course management and I feel he can reduce his handicap massively this year. Take a look at his swing.
