FREE MOT to all readers

This year we are running a MOT service to all newsletter readers. All MOTs will be given by myself or Noel and all MOTs will be in the studio. The MOTs will be available for the whole of February so book yours today. MOTs this year will be available in three different packages.

1. Bronze. This is free of charge and is a 20 minute slot that will check the following.

2. Silver. This is a 30 minute slot in which we will give you more information.

3. Gold. This is a one hour service in which will cover all aspects of the game and equipment.

What's been happening in the cave?

As you can imagine with the weather been miserable and new product being released the studio has been extremely busy.

We are still coaching the winter programme as well as running product knowledge days and MOTs the studio is at almost full capacity. We still have a few times weekly to book lessons or self practice sessions so call the shop on 01562 740090 to book your time.

More width more distance and better strikes.

Swing tip for the week is to help you to create better swing lines, this will also help you create a better strike and create more distance. Remember your golf swing is a mirror images so if we take the club back nice and wide and away from our body we need to the same on the follow through. If you were to throw a club down a fairway your arms would automatically extend when letting go of the club.

Hitting the ball is the same. Take a look below at my dads swing and take a look at what we have been working on. More width helps create a lower launch angle and create more ball speed so it's a win win situation.

The first image shows his arms very close to his body and lack release, followed by the second image showing huge improvements with more width and more control, creating his mirror image.
