Great Garcia finally cracks it.
I hope you enjoyed the Masters over the past week. The golf was at its best as always. There is something about Augusta that drags non golfers in to watch the golf, even my wife watched it for a few hours over the weekend, not sure what the Augusta magic is but it works.
If you watched the opening ceremony where Jack Nicklaus and Gary Players teed off with one of the big three sadly missing it was very emotional. Arnold Palmer was a true inspiration for all golfers and watching the ceremony where they placed Arnold Palmers green jacket on his chair and his wife came down to watch it was very touching. Watching the masters and they way it's run it's an amazing as like all golf clubs and events they are trying to move with the times but also stick to their traditions as well.
Now on to the tournament. What a result for Sergio and also for Europe. I was cheering Sergio on because he has come close so many times and has been around for ages I thought he deserved his victory. Well done Sergio and well done Justin.
Did you use my tip??
If you back my tip each way when I suggested Thomas Pieters in last weeks newsletter you would have got odds of around 100-1 so you should have returned a nice tidy amount.

Congratulations to Charles Tilling for drawing Sergio Garcia out of the Masters draw. Charles has won a voucher for the shop of £85.

Garmin's now on trial in the shop
I have taken stock of the latest Garmin GPS products for newsletter reader to try free of charge.
We have a watch, a slimmer watch and a hand held unit all available to try.
Paul Upton used the s20 approach on Tuesday and said it was brilliant. Paul has been using a golfbuddy but says the garmin was far better.
Come in store and trial them yourself.
Juniors are still flying.
The junior academy is going from strength to strength and we now have over 40 juniors attending.
This week my class we worked on warm up exercise and then we spoke about different strikes of a golf balls. We taught them the shots we can hit are:
- Good shots
- Fat shots
- Thin shots
- Topped shots
We are working very hard to improving their games and their terminology.
The Captain and the President split the fairway
As normal tradition at Kidderminster golf club the new Captain and President tee off the first hole to official open the course for the season ahead. As always we have a flutter on how many yards combined they would hit it. We had guesses from 195 yards right through to 450 yards. However Sam Burton our general manger won with 361 yards. Many members came and support the event and it's was as always a great occasion.
