A big key for consistency One of the biggest issues facing golfers is inconsistency. How do I get more consistent is a question I hear daily. One would be to practice more. The other would be to swing the club on a single plane. Sounds complicated, but I'll explain. You choose your swing plane to be the angle your club is at address. As you can see below. What we would be looking for is for the backswing and downswing to work up-and-down this line. As you can see what happens in this swing is the club works below the line on the way back (on the inside) and at the top of the backswing he then comes over the top and the club and hands are in front of the line. This is known as a two plane swing. And although at times it can produce good shoots, it will lack consistency and cause issues. We have been working on this swing to get the club more on plane both ways and the results are excellent.
