Free up cash for Christmas

Don’t forget at Kidderminster pro shop we have an eBay shop and can turn your unwanted items into credit on your pro shop account. If this is something that interests you then drop off your unwanted stuff to the shop and providing the items are saleable we will get them sold for you.

Santa is coming to Kidderminster Golf Club

This year I will be running the kids Christmas again. We have a new entertainment team coming in so that will be exciting followed by lunch and then Santa Claus afterwards providing he doesn’t get lost again.

We only have 9 spaces left for our kids Christmas party! The sign-up sheet is now in the lounge and is already half full after a day so be quick and get your loved one booked in so they don’t miss out!

Studio news

What’s new in the studio for fitting?

In the past month we have taken delivery of the new TaylorMade GAPR hybrids. This comes in three different shaped heads; Lo, Mid and Hi. They are all fully adjustable so the lofts can change. Another great product by TaylorMade and we have them all in stock and available for custom fitting.

TaylorMade have also produced the new P760 iron. This is designed for the lower handicapper but it’s so easy to use that I feel it could suit most people with the correct fitting. We have all the heads and shafts in stock now for fitting.

It's getting colder

With the cold air coming in this week and with the clocks changing I feel winter is on its way. Don’t let the winter stop you playing golf, prepare and get ready.

What do you need to do to enjoy winter golf?

Make sure your shoes are waterproof - we have a £20 OFF all shoes at the moment so take advantage of this deal.

If your shoes are waterproof make sure the studs are good - we have 1/2 price on all studs at the moment so again, take advantage of this deal.

Don’t let water in and make sure you keep yourself warm for the winter - we have the full range of ProQuip waterproofs including gilets and padded jackets.

KGC logo clothing

After much feedback from many members for a limited amount of clothing we have decided to make a change to the logo. We are keeping the KGC in the middle of the logo but that is it!

We have a limited amount of sweaters coming so please let me know your thoughts. All team logoed clothing will continue to have the original logo.

Go the distance

We've all been there - around 75 yards out and faced with a tricky little pitch shot towards a tight pin; danger over the back and a tier just before the flag that will take anything short down to the front edge.

The first stage in overcoming potential card wreckers like this is knowing how far you hit a full shot with each of your wedges. The second is having three different distances that you can comfortably hit with each, adding to your options when faced with this scenario.
