This is Andy Walker, aka Wack. My partner-in-crime at Uni and the one person who could have turned this utter horror show into a personal crusade, helping hundreds of others in the process. In October he has a new mission and he's taking me along for the ride. Literally. We are cycling across Kenya together with a very clever bike and a fantastic team of people, including six other phenomenal tetraplegic individuals, all raising vital funds for the charity Regain. Regain make an unbelievable difference to the lives of people living with high-level spinal cord injuries - they helped to transform Wack's attitude to life and opened the door for countless opportunities, while helping him to overcome the specific day to day challenges that come with such a serious spinal cord injury. Wack will cycle using only his chin and Cyclone Mobility's Quadrix tetraplegic bike - something that's never been done before. And that's what this guy is all about - breaking new ground and making the impossible possible. Wack will be the highest level participant to tackle the tough 400km terrain, and it will be no mean feat for myself. To take on this challenge together means the world. Your help and support in anyway would be greatly appreciated. I am keen to raise funds for this incredible charity. As well as helping Wack, and many others in a similar position, their support has helped to ensure that my old mucker is still living and loving life and our adventures together continue..."
