Studio news

Studio now filling up!

The weather has been poor but this hasn't stopped my lessons.

I’ve now hibernated into the studio and I will see you all again in March. That is sometimes how it feels with the studio being so busy.

82 not out!

Tiger Woods equalled the PGA Tour record of 82 tournament wins with victory at the Zozo Championship.

The 43-year-old world number 10 had seven holes to finish in Japan on Monday as he matched fellow American Sam Snead's record, set in 1965. It was his first event since having his fifth knee operation nine weeks ago.

In April, Woods won his first major for 11 years with Masters, leaving him three short of Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 major titles. Snead was aged 52 when he won for the final time on the PGA Tour, while Nicklaus was 46 when he lifted the last of his major trophies. After his record-equaling victory, Woods said: "As far as playing until 52, I hope that's the case. “If you would have asked me a few years ago, I would have given you a different answer, but certainly the future looks brighter than it has. “The body can't do what it used to but I can still think my way around the golf course. “I know how to play and I was able to do that this week. There was a time if I didn't know if I would play again so I am very appreciative."

I know you’re all fed up of hearing about Christmas already but I love Christmas!

That’s why the shop will be getting its tree up early and the decorations will be draped all over the shop along with the start off our Christmas advent calendar special offer so keep your eyes peeled.

Rain, rain go away

In 2018, only January saw more rainfall in the UK than November. Not the happiest of stats to highlight, but one that shows the inevitability of being caught in a few downpours this month, making a waterproof and spacious bag vital if you want to tackle the unpredictable British weather.

Which do you prefer?

Spotlight | Callaway JAWS MD5 Wedges

What we love most about Callaway is that each time a new product comes out, it performs better than the one it replaces in the range - something we certainly noticed in the latest Mack Daddy wedges.
