It’s started!

Can you believe we are only a few weeks away from Christmas?

This year has flown by yet again. It really doesn’t feel like Christmas with the ground wet and leaves everywhere, we could do with some really good frosts, this would help with the ground and the collecting off leaves. A massive thanks to all our green staff and members that have worked tirelessly this week in getting the leaves up, a really hard job but a wonderful effort.

So how’s the weather been this year?

This year it’s been a very wet year. I thought we had a good summer but looking at the averages it’s still been wet.

Take a look at the averages and then you can understand when the course is very wet in places.

Studio news

The studio is back up and running

We have now had our GC2 launch monitor back and the studio is fully up and running.

This week has been crazy with me playing catch up. The weather has been very damp and chilly this week so many members have started their winter programme.

If you would like to work on your game this winter in our studio let us know. Don’t let the weather hold you back.

Shop news

What’s happening in the shop?

Matt and Noel have decorated the shop with the Christmas tree and all the decs, the tree has it’s usually West Brom theme.

The Christmas raffle has now started! £2 per square with all the money going back into prizes - Please support and get your tickets from the shop.

The orders have started to roll in for Christmas. Members are taking advantage of the Motocaddy FREE golf bag with every lithium trolley order.

Weeks remaining to get yours

We’ve started to receive your Titleist ball personalisation orders in-store and it’s safe to say the promotion has captured the imagination of plenty of you.

If you haven’t order yours yet, you have a couple of weeks left before the deadline for Christmas delivery (9th December). You can choose from any model in Titleist’s range and can personalise your balls for FREE.

Is it still too early to talk about it?

We might be five weeks away from the big day itself, but it won’t be long before radio stations start playing Jingle Bells and this year’s John Lewis ad captures the nation’s attention. When it comes to Christmas shopping, we have a fantastic selection of stocking fillers available in the pro shop and even more ready to be purchased on our Click and Collect website.

From headcovers to sweaters and even the old traditional gift of socks, you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for through us. You might even spot something you want adding to your list of gifts this year!
