TaylorMade Fitting Day

We have secured one of the first fitting days in the country at Kidderminster for the new TaylorMade SIM collection.

These clubs have even given amazing reviews and you can test for yourself on Friday 21st February, spaces will be limited so be quick.

Competition news

All competitions are now set up

While I was away I have been working on many different parts of the business and I have now set up every competition for the year. This year we have over 150 competitions for both men and ladies.

We have 10 new Sunday competition which will all be individual and open to both men and ladies.

We have a mid-week 9 and 18 hole competition every week from April until the end of October these again are open to both men and ladies.

Ladies have all the Tuesday competitions now set up and ready to go.

Men’s Saturday’s competitions and the order of merit for this season is now ready, we just need the weather to get going and we will all be ready to start the season.

Corporate and logo golf balls

Do you realise at Kidderminster we supply nearly 500 dozen balls a year to companies and individuals, these golf balls either have personal messages on them or they have their company logo printed on them.

These are a great way to advertise, claim the VAT and tax back and also to get them at a cheaper price. Come into the shop and take a look at our display and take the price list away with you.

Special offer on Motocaddy trolleys

We have been lucky to be offered a few Motocaddy M3 lithium trolleys.

These trolleys sell at £599 but we can now offer them to you for £449 and throw in £50 worth of accessorises!

We have sold nearly all of these on Facebook this week but still have one left. Fancy it? We can take your trolley in part exchange.

New black edition PING G700 iron

The biggest selling PING iron for next season have produced a black edition which is now available for fitting in the studio.

These look fantastic, I don’t know what it is about black irons but they look amazing.

What have we got coming up in the shop over the next few weeks?

We have many different offers coming in.

We have the latest range of Greg Norman clothing with shirts selling from £24.99 to £39.99.

We also have Calvin Klein clothing coming in. The new FootJoy shoes will arrive by the end of the week for both men and ladies. The new Motocaddy rental trolleys and all the new golf pride grips will also be landing soon. Keep popping in and don’t miss out - This year is going to be massive!

Time to get excited

Whilst it's easy to think that the golf industry goes into hibernation during the winter months, it's actually one of the most exciting times of the year for us!

This week sees the PGA Show take place in Orlando, which is a huge four day conference where golf brands large and small showcase their new product for the year ahead.

There is some fantastic stuff coming and we've already started to take delivery of orders in the pro shop, so why not pop down and have a browse in the coming weeks?

Layer up

Last week we talked about one of our favourite topics: rain! Whilst waterproof protection is key for staying dry when caught in a downpour, combining layers of clothing underneath is vital if you want to enjoy the warmth without being so restricted that you can’t complete your backswing.

What do we mean by layering?

Lots of golfers are still in the habit of putting on as many layers as they possibly can in the winter to combat the cold – a vest, turtleneck, polo, sweater and jacket – but today’s golf clothing could easily cut that down by half.

What do we suggest?
