Juniors are the future. Over the past couple of years, Noel has worked extremely hard in making our junior academy successful and we now have over 60 children being coached on a regular basis. On Tuesday we held an information meeting with the juniors and the parents and ran through all our plans for this year including the junior passports coaching scheme and the golf sixes which is a team event which we have entered. OGL has kindly donated the sponsorship this year and a big thank you to Gino (Matt’s dad) for supplying the shirts. Our juniors will look the bee’s knees this year. A very exciting year coming up, we will keep you posted. |

Planning for the season My business is no different from any other business. Preparation and planning are what I've almost been doing all weekend. The new till system is incredible and we are using the reports to look at stock turns and gross profit and also size runs on what sells and what doesn’t. The lads are now tasked to print the reports of each week and we now have staff meetings every Tuesday to run through the reports and to help run a better more organised shop.
We also have the Online Lesson booking system, which allows you to make appointments with us with greater ease! If you want to give it a shot, click here to book yourself in. |
Galvin has arrived. We have just taken delivery of the new Galvin Green stock. This stock looks amazing and the quality is even better. Pop in the shop and see for yourself how good this is, and get yourself some of the new range which will help you feel your best on the golf course.

Get a grip
Since last week, we have had a great response to our grip campaign where we offer you a FREE grip on your 7 iron to see if your grips need replacing.
We will give you professional advice on the style of the grip and the thickness of the grip, both of these things are very important.
Pop in now and get your FREE 7 iron grip.

Last week we revealed a remarkable statistic regarding the number of golfers playing grips that are over a year old, but what impact does that actually have on your game? Well, we decided to do some digging... |
| Tension whilst gripping | Grips are made from rubber and are prone to wear and tear, just like the tyres on your car. When they become worn, your grips will lose tackiness and your hands will start to slip during the swing, resulting in poorer shots.
The thing is, you’ll likely overcompensate by holding on to your clubs too tight, creating more tension and stiffness during the swing.
|
| Limited time offer in-store now | We know it sounds all doom and gloom, but it does make a huge difference to your game. That's why we're running this promotion at Kidderminster Golf Club, so you can experience the benefits of a new grip first hand.
There’s no catch, just pop by the shop before your next round to take advantage. |
