The course is looking great and ready for the summer

The course is looking amazing and now we are heading into the summer months it will only get better and better. 

 

The new look 17th greenside bunkers are looking excellent. Re-shaped and converted into two bunkers on the right hand side of the green and the removal of the top left bunker. Now they have been re turfed they look superb.

The back of the 13th green has been suffering with the roots from the trees next to the green. The Green staff have now put down a root barrier and have re turfed and this will make a big difference to the back of the green. This process has worked extremely well on the back of both the 10th and 17th in the last year.

What's the pro shop staff up to this week?

This week continues to be busy, fingers crossed the weather holds up. I'm away Thursday morning at a meeting regarding the growth of the game. We have a ladies golf day next Wednesday (1st April). Noel continues to improve and is now ready for the season. Jack had a meeting Tuesday with Pera training and is now working on his course work. My dad is improving daily and will be back at work within the next two weeks.
