Bill wins The Masters draw

What a great week of golf. The Masters lived up to its amazing viewing. I think it was safe to say that Jordan Spieth was a worthy winner, the way he handled himself under the immense pressure was incredible. Another great show by the Europeans and fingers crossed over the next few years we can bring a green jacket back home.

I have just started to practice again after a very busy winter. I'm getting ready for our trip to Royal Lytham next month.

The academy is really getting going



Get in to golf

I have now started my second sessions of get in to golf with 7 people attending in total, Noel has just started his group on a Sunday morning and has had 8 attend. This will continue over the summer.

Junior academy

My under 7s academy started again last week and we had 9 turn up which was good as it was freezing cold. The numbers will increase during the summer. We have 30 juniors in the academy at the moment.

King Charles link

I'm just about to start coaching King Charles on a Monday. This will be a link to the golf club and all being well we can start to bring children to the club to see our wonderful facilities.

Junior school coaching

We are now starting our school coaching again at 6 schools. We are giving the schools 2 free sessions followed by after school coaching. Noel has started the after school coaching at Spennells school already.

What's the staff up to this week?

This week is a very busy week. We have the men's pairs open on Saturday which is nearly fully booked. I have two demo days next week along with a very busy coaching diary. Noel continues to be busy coaching and Jack is work extremely well. My dad will be seen in the shop from now on. Have a great weeks golfing.
