Support our boys for cancer support
Steve Kidd alongside 3 other members are playing 72 holes in one day over 4 courses to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. Once the venues are confirmed they are hoping to start at Wharton Park then move to Bewdley Pines then on to Burlish Park and then finish at Kidderminster. We are hoping to raise as much money as possible and would love your support in this event. If you would like to give to the charity either go to the website www.justgiving.com/kidda/ or there is sponsorship forms dotted around the clubhouse. Hope you can support this day.
Midsummer madness
What a way to start your bank holiday Monday with a tee off at 6am. That's what 72 members did last Monday. The event was fully subscribed and a great morning of golf followed by a full English breakfast was just the job. Congratulations to Kevin Woodham, Brian Longmore, Will and Claire Painter for winning the day and Mike Thompson, Frank Concannon Phil Bounre and Andy Spare for finishing second.
The results keep on coming through weekly with my fittings and lessons. This week congratulations go to Shane. Lewis for winning the Charles Harvey cup. Shane got custom fitted and gap tested around a month ago and the new clubs are obviously paying off. Well done Shane.
Congratulations to Craig
Well done to Craig Richardson for qualifying for the men's amateur stroke play championships. Craig qualified at Clitheroe golf club. The Championships will be at Notts golf club from the 24th to the 27th of June. Good luck Craig.
