Junior summer camps coming to Kidderminster
With the summer holidays now kicking in we have decided to put together 3 summer camps over the holidays to create some fun and to learn the great game. Each summer camp we will learn many different skills in golf and the etiquette of the game along with prizes and games. These camps are now getting very busy so if you want your child/ grandchild to come along please click here.
Golfer - Non golfer
We still have places left for golfer - non golfer. If you're not sure what this is, it's when the golfer plays to the green and the non-golfer putts out. It's great fun. This is followed by fish and chips. If you can't make the golf why not come for the fish and chips. If you want to come for the food please let Lynn know by phoning 01562 822303. If you want to put your name down for the golfer - non golfer the start sheet is in the corridor between the lounge and men's changing rooms.

A week of wet weather
As my daughter broke up from school last Friday I booked a few days away and went down to Bude. Unfortunately the weather was dreadful and we couldn't do what we wanted but still we had a break and it's back to work now. I did manage to sneak 18 holes in at Bude on Sunday afternoon, never playing the course before I was very pleased with my game with 11 pars 4 bogeys and 3 birdies, shooting 1 over par. I generally play courses better blind as I don't know where the hazards are and I play more aggressive. Take a look at my few snap shots of the course.
What's the pro shop staff up to this week?
As I returned back to work on Friday after a few days off, its back to business as usual. I'm very busy this weekend with The Open Championship being on. Noel continues to be busy and is away on Thursday playing Ladbrook Park with 3 members in a PGA Pro-Am. I'm sad to say but it will be one of Jacks last weeks with us, unfortunately Jack is leaving at the end July. Jack has worked very hard and has become very popular with the members but he doesn't feel that this job is right for him. I would like to thank Jack for all his hard work and wish him all the best in the future. You will still see Jack up the club every weekend as he continues to improve on his game. My dad has been busy with the trolley repairs and is away the weekend in Cornwall.
