Swing room on course for grand opening
As I write this week's newsletter, the impact screen, projector and computer have just been delivered. The room has now been fully carpeted and all being well we will be ready for the grand opening next Friday (night golf night). I will be sending a special mail out next week with special offers and different things we will be doing next weekend and for the following week so everybody can experience the swing room.
I'm really looking forward to coaching through the winter in the swing room as well as play holes with members on the simulator. We will be running a pairs winter league series along with many different evenings in the room. I really hope you enjoy our new facility and can't wait for your feedback.
People have started to ask about the cost to use the room. The lesson prices for members will remain the same, the visitors will pay £5 more per session. Please see above the room and a price list. For the use of the simulator this would be a straight fee to members of £20 per hour so if you have a 4 ball its £5 each per hour.
Seniors finish the season in style
Last Monday the seniors held their final competition, 36 members played in groups of 4 and the winning team had Alan Stanyer, Charles Tilling in the 4 ball. The outgoing captain, Phil Green reported on another successful season and handed over to next year's senior's captain Frank Concannon and his vice, Neil Nicholls. We also used the opportunity to present trophies to the winners of the senior's competitions throughout the year. Thanks to all who attended. Seniors section.
What's coming up soon in the club?
What's the pro shop up to this week?
This is a mad week trying to get the swing room up and running as well as teach and look after the shop. I'm away for a few days next week as its half term. Noel is busy teaching and working in the shop, my dad has been flat out working on the room and is away for a week at the end of next week.
