The swing room grand opening Friday the 6th of November

The swing room is getting close to opening now. We are just finishing of the final touches. We have the simulator all in now and working. We are just getting the custom fitting equipment in and then we are ready to go. The swing studio has three different options for you to use.

FSX Play

FSX play is the course simulator. We have 4 courses. You can choose the weather, the ground condition, the pace of the greens and which tees you would like to play off. You can select certain holes or play 9 or 18 holes. You can also practice from any position on any course. 

 

FSX Compete

FSX compete is skills challenges. You have a series of different yardages and obstacles and have a scoring system. Each session can be saved to you so you can always try and beat your last score. Another great way to work on alignment and touch.

FSX Fit

FSX fit is the best fitting system on the market. We can compare all clubs that up you currently use with new clubs to give us several different readings. The system will work on your club efficiency and we can make changes to help your game. We will have fully fitted custom fit studio for TaylorMade, Titleist, PING and Lynx. If you're looking at changing your clubs get the best advice and the most accurate reading then look no further. All readings are emailed to you straight away.

Free swing studio sessions 

For the open weekend, Friday (6th) Saturday (7th) Sunday (8th) I'm offering all members a free 20 minute session. Starting from 7am Friday morning until 6pm Sunday. Book your free session in the swing studio and also take advantage of some amazing offers that weekend.

Endless task for the green staff

I'm sure you're all aware the leaves are now falling daily. We have the greenstaff picking them up all day and when they come back the following day it's back to square one. 

 

Phil and Mark are on top form

A great knock from Phil Brookes and Mark Baker saw them win the qualifier with 44 points beating Grant Owen and Clive Thorpe by 1 shot. The top 16 have now been drawn and the knockout stages will now commence. Well done to all who qualified.

What's the pro shop staff up to this week?

This week continues to be mad as we try to get the swing studio finalised. I'm away Wednesday and Thursday as its half term. Wednesday we are off to see Annie at the Hippodrome and Thursday we are having a 4d image of the baby. I'm in a meeting Friday with the golf foundation and then its night golf. A busy week ahead.
